As one of the pivot company of the Chinese independent foreign trade enlarging project. In 1999, Yuejin Motor Group Import & Export Co., Ltd. Was born on the basis of the former Chinese Automobile industry Import & Export Co., Ltd. Nanjing Branch. In May 2007, YIEC renamed to Nanjing Automobile Import and Export Co Ltd according to the arrangement of NAC, the mother company of NAIEC.

NAIEC specializes in the foreign trade business of automobile, mechanical & electric equipment and its parts. Since its establishment, NAIEC always obey the policy of equality and mutual benefit, honor credit and contract, develop and exploit domestic and oversea business according to Chinese foreign policies and international practice, and have successfully built up solid business relationship with customers all around the world. With the great efforts of NAIEC, NAC products have been sold to Syria, Pakistan, Algeria, Argentina, South Africa, Sudan, Cote d'ivoire, Namibia, Djibouti, Tanzania, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, US, etc. Some SKD/CKD assembly plants have been set up abroad successfully. The foreign currency income increases year by year. As the general distributor of foreign business for NAC, NAIEC's main products are Yuejin Brand light trucks, Nanjing-IVECO brand light truck and commercial vehicle, WUXI-SOYAT sedan car, MG sedan cars; ChangAn, Mudan brand vehicles. All the mentioned vehicles exported by NAIEC have the key feature of Reliable quality, Outstanding performance and Competitive prices, some of the models meet the EURO2 EURO3 emission standard. In addition, NAIEC deputizes to export mechanical & electric equipment (including Suite of Equipment) and some other products, processing on giving materials and drawings. Products have been exported to Europe and American developed countries like: USA, Italy, Spain, and also to Southeast Asia and African developing countries.

In the year of 2006, NAC has been entitled "China Automobile Export Base". NAIEC has been appraised to be AAA creditable company by China Bank, appraised to be 2003-2004, 2005-2006 A level creditable rate paying company by Nanjing State Tax Bureau and Nanjing Local Tax Bureau.
